We decided to take a trip to Aomori, Since we hadn’t been there yet. Took a toll road, thought the toll roads were plowed and snow & ice free, but as we found out, that wasn’t the case.

Not much of snow pole sticking out huh?
We stopped at a restroom, before exiting the toll gate…
Lots of Ice on the road… not really touching the actual road…
Jaymie just had to go to PEE…
Manila, Philippines
As next month is fast approaching, we prepare for our nearlyall expense paid vacation to the philippines. Our Air Fare is covered, our Lodging is covered, all we have to pay for is Food and shopping. It’s getting to the point where I can’t really sleep at night because I’m too excited. I haven’t been since 1999, and look forward to all the changes there that I’ve read about on the internet and heard from family and friends.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It has been a while since I’ve posted, and some of you may have noticed the site wasn’t working. This is fixed now, HOPEFULLY. Christmas has passed, we had a good Christmas, not as much was under the tree this year as last year, but we were together and there was plenty of food on the table. That is what’s important.
There is snow on the ground, not very much, but you can see some white. It’s not as cold this year as it was in past years from what I’m being told.
I can’t beleive that 2007 is upon us. It seems like the years are passing by so fast. Kids are growing up faster than you think… miles (or kilometers in my case) are stacking up on your vehicle.
We will be bringing 2007 in with lots of food, friends and family here in our house tonight… So if you’re here, please come by and eat around 7pm. Trust me, there will be so much food, we could feed Ethiopia.
Enough for this post…
HAPPY NEW YEAR

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
My buddy Jon and I went out to the beach looking for Glass Floats or Glass Balls. Ended up getting stuck on the beach when I was backing up and didn’t see one of the Lava Rocks in my mirror. Backed up over it, and hi-centered my rear-end on the rock. needless to say, that I couldn’t drive off even in 4-low. Busted my hydrolic jack trying to get it off, ended up walking about 1.5 to 2 kilometers down the beach to ask a Japanese guy to help. He did pull us off the rock. See picture below…
When we finally got out of this situation, we decided to go get some lunch. But, there were no restaurants around. We did find a Mini-Stop (like a 7-11) who had some food, so we ate there. But first, while we were looking for a restaurant, we took dhow cruise dubai. Now the purpose of this trip, is to find those Glass Balls or Glass Floats on the beach. Ended up not finding any on the beach. But while we were in the mountains, we stopped to take a picture of pacific ocean, and Jon noticed a glass ball in a pile of trash about 25 feet down the mountain. This was pretty steep grade, so naturally Jon went after it. So, he ended up with a nice glass ball with the net still on it.
Going to the Mountains… we came across this bear sign.
It ended up snowing pretty good on us once we got up the mountain…
This is me on the beach, posing by the Lava Rocks… w/ mountains in background…

Ice on the Beach
This pic was again taken in Northern Japan… after some hail and snow, the beach turned white, like the beaches in Florida. Yes it was COLD!!!

Hail on the Beach
This pic was taken on the Beach in Northern Japan (Aomori Pref.). We was out looking for glass floats, when it suddenly started to Hail, followed by sleet & snow.
