My name is James Strickland, I currently live with my wife and 3 kids on Misawa Air Base, in Northern Japan. I'm in the Air Force and have been serving for over 12 years.

What's my job you may ask? I'm a truck driver. Yup... a truck driver. Now, in a sense I wasted 13 years of my life, knowing that I wanted a job in an IT career field. The Airforce refused to help out there. So I was pretty much stuck driving trucks. I will get some type of job in a Computer related career field come hell or high water. We'll see what happens in the next 6+ years. Even if I have to sweep out wiring closets and dust off CISCO equipment... Wonder if I could become a brain sergeon? Naaa... probably not... I'll just stick with Sys Admin Stuff, or network admin? Or, I'll just stay a truck driver... (nothing wrong with that...)
